This course provides a detailed introduction to our physical environment and the basic laws that make it work. The broad scope of this course includes the earth's atmosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere as well as weather, motion, Newton's Laws, gravity, the solar system, atomic structure, radiation, nuclear reactions, stars, and galaxies. This course is intended to precede high school biology and should be taken simultaneously with pre-algebra.
