Exploring Creation with Zoology 3
This course covers the diverse world of land animals in jungles, deserts, forests, farms, and students' own back yards. Students will learn about primates to parasites, kangaroos to caimans, and turtles to the titanic Tyrannosaurus Rex. They will answer questions as diverse as what separates people from apes, how a Great Dane can be related to a Chihuahua, whether people and dinosaurs lived at the same time, how to tell if a snake is poisonous, and what to do if they encounter a bear. Students will record on a map where various animals are found and learn to identify animal tracks.
